They quote you directly, so you can compare the product, the finish, delivery and installation before you commit. We don't sell slate and we don't do the work.

Before you accept a quote

Natural slate varies from batch to batch, so ask to see the actual stock or a recent sample, not only a photograph. Check whether the tiles are calibrated (even thickness) or uncalibrated, as this changes the adhesive bed and the labour. Ask which adhesive, grout and sealer are allowed for, whether the price includes delivery to site, off-loading and cutting waste, and whether sealing is part of the job. For roofs, ask about the fixings, underlay and flashings, and for any guarantee on workmanship. A cheaper quote that leaves out sealing or wastage is not cheaper.
